A Tradition of Greatness After 31 years, Von Trier changed owners in October, 2009 and after some much needed TLC the bar reopened in December, 2009 with that same Tradition of Greatness! Thanks for the memories: Former owner Mark Eckert and new owner John Sidoff celebrate the transfer of Von Trier with a nice cake. Later, John bids a tearful farewell to Mark while a bemused customer looks on.
